马来西亚是个多元化种族国家，除了巫、华、印，3大民族，我们还有土族、伊班、卡达山，再加上曾经被葡萄牙国，英国，荷兰占领过。。。
（突然间像写作文似得，抛起熟悉的文句来，呵呵）总而言之，造就了我们那多元化，百食不厌，千变万化的美食。

马来人或巫族同胞的椰浆饭 - 辣死老妈（nasi lemak）是旅客来到我国不可错过的美食之1。这道椰浆饭煮的再香也要搭配好吃的3峇江鱼仔，才称得上是绝！除此之外，简单的1餐椰浆饭可配上鸡蛋（荷包蛋或烫熟蛋）、花生和青瓜，就可以充当早餐或小食吃。通常在马来西亚，你会发现椰浆饭都是1小包，底层是用香蕉叶或塑胶片，外面用报纸或麻将纸，包成3角锥柱（金字塔 - pyramid）卖的；若配上炸鸡或其它肉食，这道椰浆饭就可以当正餐吃了。

这天LGZ带我到好吃的椰浆饭去。而且，就离 3条路 888 Lebuh Presgrave 福建面 Bayan Baru 分行 不远。就在同1条路上，右手边靠近拐弯处看得见的搭鹏档口。（如图下）

除了椰浆饭，安哥兰芝也有售卖西餐如蘑菇汤、鸡汤；意大利面食等等。
上网搜了搜，原来这里的鸡扒（chicken chop）是有口碑的！便宜，大件兼抵吃。下次我也要试吃！

还未坐下前，3加8的我不忘四处张望看下大家都吃什么来着，看见了大家都吃着以下的！而且外貌看起来还很好吃的样子。心想说这个盘子太有意思了，提高了（我对）整盘炸鸡椰浆饭的视觉享受。嘻嘻。

光看着这照片，视觉的确享受，不过肚子却。。。呵呵。
因为没给收据，忘了实际价钱多少。

LGZ介绍当然没有错（毕竟他比我还识滋味，只不过我较贪吃嘴馋，哈哈）整体上真的棒！不过我有嫌太干，要求加了点苏东（sotong）酱，更赞更好吃！原来，它家的3峇苏东也很出名，这天8点不到，就卖完了，剩下酱汁而已。LGZ还补充说，若迟来的话，炸鸡也会卖光光而扑空哦！

点了melon饮料。我理所当然的因为是西瓜汁，但LGZ他竟然妄想为蜜瓜汁。（差点忘了蜜瓜也叫honey melon）他才恍然大悟说，马来字melon通用是指西瓜。我又上了1小课。

Nasi lemak adalah makanan sarapan pagi kegemaran saya. Nasi lemak yang berjaya menawan hatiku mestilah berkuah sambal ikan bilis yang sedap (tidak terlalu pedas, sedikit manis tetapi tidak keterlaluan dan mempunyai hirisan bawang). Tu nasi lemak yang simple sebagai sarapan yang selalunya bersama sekeping dua timun, telur dadar atau telur rebus dan kekacang.

Hari tu, bang membawa I makan nasi lemak di Bayan Baru. Katanya, nasi lemak ni sedap bersama dengan ayam goreng yang wangi lagi rangup rasanya.

Bang pesan segelas jus melon, tapi yang ingatnya tu honey melon yang ditambah susu. Tidak terfikirnya jus tembikai rupanya. Baru dia sedar bahawa melayu selalu panggil tembikai sebagai melon, dan bukannya honey melon. 

Saya sempat memerhatikan makanan yang sedang selera dijamu berdekatan sebelum dapat mencari duduk dan mendapati ape yang sedang dijamu tu sangat memberangsangkan di mana pinggan yang digunakan adalah cantik dan menambah 'ketrampilan' nasi lemak ayam goreng ni. haha. Anda mungkin rasa kepujianku ni keterlaluan tetapi ni cuma perasaanku yang benar. LOL.

Memang tidak salah kata bangku. Nasi lemak ni berkuah sambal ikan bilis yang ku rasa sedap dan amat ku gemari. Tambahan lagi ayam goreng yang rangup dan lazat, nasi lemak ni memang akan selalu ku makan lepas ni (tetapi nasib baik la, ku ni datang jauh dari Ipoh, jika tidak, habislah kesihatanku yang disebabkan oleh tahap kolestrol yang terlalu amat sangat tinggi tidak turun-turun nanti, wahaha)

Namun begitu, ku minta tambah kuah sambal lagi kerana rasa kekeringan. Sambal sotong yang ditambah pun sedap dimakan tetapi nasib korang sikit sebab sotong dah habis dijual pada masa tu. Baru aku tau sotong sambal pun terkenal di kedai Uncle Lan's ni. Ok, ni janji akan masuk dalam senarai makan Penang pada kali yang seterusnya nanti. Haha.

Nasi lemak was one of my favourite breakfast during schooling time. That time, my dad bought it conveninetly at a coffee shop just few steps down the street of our house. So, guess what. I almost had it every weekend or almost everyday when I am on school holidays or Uni Sem break. Well, the other contributing factors behing all this was because nasi lemak is the only breakfast that need not served hot like wantan mee and gon lou mee (dried style soy sauce noodle) do, as i used to wake up late at about 11am or 12am or even up to 2pm in the afternoon so those mee will become hard and not nice to eat after hours. (Well that was a very luxury sleeping hours that i would never had now, really missing the good old days when I was a student, minus the part that I need to ask for money for every single never get enough WANT) Without us realising it, this convenience has high chances leading to my  hypercholestrolemia now. Anyway, nasi lemak is still my favourite food now.

A glass of melon juice was ordered but he thought is honey melon juice. To his surprise, it's watermelon juice after all. Then only he (as a Malay student, used to studied in a Sekolah Kebangsaan school) remembered the fact malay 'melon' is referring to watermelon instead of honey melon. 

Malaysia has diversity of of food because of its different group of etnics. Nasi lemak is a famous and must try malay food for tourists. It's easy to look for a nasi lemak stall in Malaysia. But I find it not easy to buy a pack of nice nasi lemak of my taste.

The nasi lemak itself must be fragrant but it would not be perfect without a nice sambal ikan bilis. This is the tedious part. the sambal ikan bilis cannot be too spicy not too sweet and must be with a lot of cooked onion. 

Uncle Lan'z nasi lemak is perfect to my taste. I am happy that I finally found one now as the good old nasi lemak that I used to have was closed. This Uncle Lan'z nasi lemak can come along with either fried chicken or sambal sotong of your choice. Both taste nice. But I only managed to try their fried chicken because the sotong sambal was sold out unfortunately at that time. Fyi, both fried chicken and sotong sambal are fast selling...
